We were going to the place of prayer, we were met by a slave girl who had a spirit of divination and brought her owners much gain by fortune-telling. She followed Paul and us, crying out, “These men are servants of the Most High God, who proclaim to you the way of salvation.” And this she kept doing for many days. Paul, having become greatly annoyed, turned and said to the spirit, “I command you in the name of Jesus Christ to come out of her.” And it came out that very hour. Acts 16:16-18
Apostle Paul, a disciple of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, who came into his calling after the crucifixion of Christ Jesus was a deliverance minister. This is evident in the verse above where a young woman was operating in the medium spirit. Paul looked at her and commanded the demon to come out of her. She was following Paul and the disciples but there was a spirit upon her that was plaguing her. Paul discerned what the demon was and cast it out. The same authority is still available today and we see that in our deliverance services in Victory in Christ Ministry, Enfield, North London, UK. We are willing to operate in this anointing, which is the ministry of deliverance as there are many people in church today that are suffering from various spirits but unless they repent, accept Christ as their Personal Saviour and are in a church where these spirits can be commanded out, they will never be set free.
